Dräger is a family business with 120-year roots. We know exactly how important it is to have a strong family behind you. But a family also requires time. In order to balance your personal life and professional life, we allow you many freedoms at Dräger. Yet, you have control over how to find the right work-life balance for you.

On the work side, for example, you can decide between flexible working hours, part-time work or working from home. On the life side, we support you with a day care facility near the company and an inter-regional family service. Of course, your partner and children are also welcome at the Dräger Summer Fest, at lunch in our cafeteria or at the Christmas pantomime.

Your daughter is in bed with a high fever or your nanny cancels at the last minute. Family life doesn't always go according to plan. You can flexibly schedule your working hours so things don't spin out of control – taking into consideration your current job and after consulting with your team colleagues. For example, if you would like to work four hours instead of seven on some days, you can make up the remaining hours later. Furthermore, the day after Ascension and the days between Christmas and New Year's are generally free for the family. You can either save the time for these days via flextime or it will be deducted from your vacation time.

In special cases, you can also completely, or in part, move your office to your home. In the home office, it's easier for you, for example, to be there for child and career.

While you are working to save lives in the office or production hall, your children should be in the best hands. We are more than happy to help you find the right day care or nanny, not just in Lübeck, but throughout Germany. Dräger works closely with an independent family service. This team of experts advises you in all child care questions and finds you a place at a day care right in your area
